First House Hold Meeting

When our DGL proposed a date for our first House Hold meeting, I asked my SFC sister what a household meeting was - she answered me with a mischievous smile saying "basta, maganda un!"

These were my initial realizations after our first household and the same explanation I gave my brother when he asked me what we do during an HH meeting.  

It is where we come together as one unit to worship and glorify the Lord. Praying within an intimate setting with just a couple of people with you is quite different from praying alone or praying with the whole congregation. The intimate setting of a household affords us a way to develop our own personal prayer and scripture reading habits

It is where we share scripture reading reflections with each other. Sharing our thoughts and exchanging our own interpretations of the day's scripture helps us understand the word of God even more.

Household meetings gives us the opportunity wherein we could gradually build the circle of trust as we learn to be comfortable sharing very personal issues and concerns. By confiding in each other and praying together, we find the solace and comfort we need.

It is thru intimate household meetings that the strong bonds of friendship and sisterhood centered in Christ is forged.

"Maganda nga talaga mag household!" and for this may God be praised!!!
